So, over the past month I have accumulated thousands of XRP tokens. What is XRP tokens you ask? XRP is a cryptocurrency. Why XRP? Well I have done hundreds of hours of research and XRP Cryptocurrency is the most promising! XRP is native to the Ripple Network. What is the #RippleNet you ask? Well think of the internet but it is used to transfer money! XRP is being used by some of the largest banks in the world to move currency to other countries. How does it work? Let's say the bank wants to move 1 Million U.S. Dollars to Mexican Pesos to a branch in Mexico! Well they would purchase 3 Million XRP and transfer them via the Ripple net to the branch in Mexico then they would liquidate the XRP in to Cold Hard Pesos within 5 seconds! What good does this do? Well if a bank wanted to do this without using the Ripple Net they would have 2 options prefund the branch in Mexico or use the Swift Network, which could take 3-5 Business days! So what's the big deal with 3-5 Business days using the Swift Network? Funny you ask, if the US Dollar exchange rate changes you do not get as many Paso's for your US Dollar. Also there is usually a very high fee when using the Swift Network! MoneyGram is already using the Ripple Net and saving a ton of money and time sending XRP across borders! The Ripple Net is still being developed and has about 300 customers currently using it! I would think that the utility of XRP will only drive the value up over time. Why would I want my Dollars to sit in a bank and give me no return when I can seize this opportunity to grow my investment in the Ripple net by holding XRP.
